Hidden in a yard off a Dongzhimen hutong, Xinghecun.Lab (星河村.Lab) offers a contemporary, leaner take on traditional chinese home cooking. The interior likewise takes rather conservative materials like green marble, dark wood and tobacco-coloured leather and gives them a sleeker, playful twist.
